Overview

The wireless DHCP failure alert triggers when wireless clients repeatedly fail to obtain IP addresses from the DHCP server. This may indicate DHCP server issues, network configuration problems, or DHCP pool exhaustion.

What to do when you receive this alert

  1. Check DHCP pool utilization under Network-wide > VLANs
  2. Verify the VLAN associated with the SSID has DHCP enabled
  3. Check for IP conflicts or exhausted DHCP pools
  4. Review firewall logs for blocked DHCP traffic
  5. Contact Meter Support if the issue persists
