Overview

The high availability failover alert triggers when traffic fails over from the primary firewall to the secondary firewall in a HA pair. This indicates the primary firewall may be experiencing issues.

What to do when you receive this alert

  1. Log into the Dashboard and navigate to Hardware > Firewalls
  2. Check the status of both HA firewalls
  3. Review the primary firewall for any issues
  4. Contact Meter Support if the primary firewall does not recover
