Overview
WAN degradation indicates ISP quality has fallen below the configured threshold for more than five minutes. Quality is a measurement of returned successful pings from well-known hosts.Prerequisites
- Dashboard access with Admin or Network Admin permissions
- Alert receivers configured
Configuring the alert

Configuration fields

| Alert type | Yes | Select “ISP Degradation” |
| Minimum ping success | Yes | Percentage of pings that must succeed for ISP to be healthy. Value between 0 and 1 (default: 0.8 = 80%) |
| Receiver | Yes | Select from configured receivers |
| Company wide | Yes | Apply to all networks or select specific networks |
| Excluded networks | No | Networks to exclude when Company wide is enabled |

What to do when you receive this alert
The ISP may be experiencing a partial outage, or WAN settings may need to be adjusted. Meter Support will proactively reach out shortly after this alert fires. If you haven’t received an email from Support, open a ticket via the Dashboard.Need help?
